The Yoders

Well I am not a very good blogger!! haha. The summer has come and gone and now the nice cool fall is upon us. So far it has been a very wet and cool fall. But thank the Lord he has sent some beautiful warm and dry weather!!! The farmers have gotten the crops out around us, and boy did the kids like watching the combines!!!

This is how I found them!! Just standing there not moving just watching!!! They stayed there for about 10 minutes then they moved closer for a better look!!! Just priceless!!

About the chickens!! We started off with 20, now we are down to an even dozen. We butchered 3 roosters, gave 3 hens away, and one got killed by a hawk. I have been selling my eggs!! I made a sign and put it out in the yard and so every once in awhile some one will stop. I just got my first regular customer, my mail lady, so I am eggcited!! We are getting between 4 to 6 eggs a day, depends on the weather and if they have food!! Which reminds me I need to go buy some more chicken feed!

I finial got the kids bedroom painted and switch around. Wesley is now in a big bed and he does very well about staying in bed, well at least for the most part!! Just recently he wants to sleep in Rosie's bed and bring toys along too! I knew that one time I would find them sleeping together, but I really wasn't expecting it this soon.

I don't know if Rosie was asleep when he did this or what!! I just love it!!
